Policy Statement
This event is being organised by a local committee of musicians and jazz fans.Our aim is to promote jazz on the Isle of Wight. Members of the committee will not receive any financial reward. Inspected accounts will be made available on request.
The committee will cover the cost of the main venues and headline acts. This will be funded by sponsorship, ticket sales and other fund-raising activities.
Any subsequent profits will go towards funding future events.
We will encourage other performances during the period. However, we will not act as agents. It will be the responsibility of the performers and venues to negotiate between themselves.

Pedro Segundo
Pedro Segundo is one of the most in-demand percussionists and drummers on the international circuit.
Known for his infectious and enthusiastic playing style in any genre, last year Pedro toured with Judith Owen and British jazz trombonist Dennis Rollins, as well as performing with bands such as the Kansas Smittys at their own Club in Broadway market and Ronnie Scott’s House Band and Allstars.
He launched his first ever solo show, Solo Segundo on 25th September "paying respect to traditional and world music drumming styles as well as introducing audiences to the world of contemporary solo percussion music; from traditional Indian and African drumming through to Xenakis, improvisatory jazz, John Cage and newly commissioned works from Goncalo Gato and Dave Maric". It also celebrates his parents' Mozambican heritage
